The Howard Miller Public Library provides private classes for a range of computer users. These classes are completely free! See what fits your need today.

These classes are meant for beginners and for people looking to touch up on their skills. See the categories below to familiarize yourself with what is offered. Private classes must be scheduled with Lindsey. Email her at to set up your class and describe what you hope to learn. You may also visit her during the times above to schedule your class if you do not have an email address. All computer classes will take place in the computer lab on the second floor.

Are you afraid to use the computer? Don’t know where to start? These introductory classes are designed to help the most basic computer user.

Mouse and Keyboard

This hour and a half long class is for computer users with very little experience with a mouse and keyboard. Learn all the tips and techniques to confidentially move around a computer.

My Computer  

Learn how to save, open, and retrieve your photos and documents on a Windows 7 platform in this hour and a half long class. This is a basic introduction to using a computer.

 Prerequisite: Must have knowledge of a mouse and keyboard.
