How do I get started on Libby?

On your computer:

  1. Go to https://libbyapp.com/ - You're done!

Note: When using Libby on your computer, you cannot download books to the desktop for offline use. You can only download books on your phone or tablet.

On your device*:

  1.  Go to the app store for your device and search for "Libby, by OverDrive".
  2.  Download the app.
  3.  Follow the instructions on the screen to log in with your library card. Note: If you have a Howard Miller Library card choose "Lakeland Library Cooperative." If you have a Herrick District Library card choose "Midwest Collaborative for Library Services."

*Some devices will not be compatible with the Libby app. Unfortunately, older devices cannot be updated to have the most recent software and will not support the apps. To learn more click here.
