Coronavirus Research Database
We are going to be mixing in our database resources into our Daily Inspirations for now on. These databases are great resources for adults and students alike. Many offer detailed scholarly articles on a wide range of topics. All databases will require you to have a library card number (If you don't have a library card you can get one by following these instructions https://www.cityofzeeland.com/Blog.aspx?IID=117#item).
Our first Database Dish is a special database created by ProQuest. The Coronavirus Research Database allows you to search for scientific information on the virus. It is great for students who have been asked to research this virus or previous pandemics.
“Whether it’s the latest medical research on how the virus is transmitted, preprints exploring new therapies to combat the virus, or editorials exploring lessons learned from prior outbreaks, faculty and students need quick and easy access to information to help them navigate this new world,” said Chris Burghardt, Vice President of Product Management at ProQuest. “The Coronavirus Research Database was created as a tool to help our users to find the information they need to quickly explore the many facets of this disease."
