This week's Staff Spotlight is on Debbie! This is the last staff spotlight unless we gain another staff member. In 2016 the other staff members used the blog and new book display (closest to stairs side) to share their favorite genres, books, and authors - now it's Debbie's turn! If Howard Miller has a copy of a favorite book, the call number is listed with the book.

"Hi, I'm Debbie Vojak. I just started working at the library at the beginning of this year. Some of the things I will be doing here are processing books, assisting patrons, and handling book donations.
I relocated to Michigan from east central Illinois this past August. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, walking in the woods or on the beach, flower gardening, and bicycling. I am excited to be living near Lake Michigan and look forward to exploring the many trails this area offers as well as visits to the beaches and state parks."

Debbie enjoys reading:

My favorite books to read are lighthearted fiction that makes me laugh, well-researched historical novels, mysteries, nonfiction on a wide variety of subjects, and biographies. I also love the creativity found in so many children's picture books. They make me laugh and look at life from a child's point of view.
