March 3, 2020, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Storytime Room
Join us for our theme-based book club!
During the school year we will host a monthly meeting for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to discuss books and enjoy snacks! Meetings will take place at 4 PM on the first Tuesday of the month in the Storytime Room at the library. This book club is different from traditional book clubs - the reader can choose what book to read!
Theme-based book clubs do not ask the reader to read a book that does not interest him/her. Instead, we will pick a theme each month and anyone who wants to join us can choose a book that they think fits the theme! These books can be any genre (including non-fiction!) or format (ebook, audiobook, graphic novel, etc.).
The theme for the first month is ANIMAL'S PERSPECTIVE!
Please bring the book with you to the meeting - but it's ok if you forget :)
March 3, 2020, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ East Activity Room
Book discussions are held on the 1st Tuesday of every month. New faces are welcome! There is no commitment to come on a regular basis - come once, twice, or as often as you want! Copies of the book are available at the circulation desk. This book is also available on OverDrive/Libby. Tuesday, March 3rd we will be discussing The Bookshop of Yesterdays, by Amy Meyerson. Join us at 6:30 PM in the East Activity Room.
